Credit Cards: Advantages VS Disadvantages

Nowadays, credit cards are often being used whenever we go shopping, eating at a restaurant or just by going outside. there are many stores that accepts the payment of credit cards these days. These cards often seems like a magical piece of board that would instantly do all the payment for your fees. We see credit cards as a convenience since we don't need to carry a heft amount of cash when we go outside. Yet we do not even realize that credit cards has it's down sides as well. We don't notice the debts that would slowly pile up...well, until the bill comes in and instantly slap you in the face with the high amount of debts.
Here we list which sides of credit card weighs down more, the good or the bad side.

Advantages:

Like it says above, credit cards are like a replacement for cash. We don't need stashes of money papers jam-packed in our bags whenever we go somewhere. People might consider that you're bragging with those cash-over stacked wallets, not to mention it is an eye candy for robbers and thieves. We wouldn't want that won't we. Also, parents without the time to accompany their much older children can just provide credit cards for them whenever their is tuition to pay at school or to the need to buy materials for their education..given that those teenagers would be responsible enough on their own.
The insurance from the credit card company also adds to the good side. Points, bonuses and discounts are also a big plus for card holders as well. Emergency situations would also be faced off better with a card as we often need to spend huge amounts on sudden things like hospital fees, car breakdown, etc.

Disadvantages:

The advantages of a credit card can somehow blind you to how good the benefits are. Hidden consequences awaits when you use it irresponsibly. You would spend far too much that what you can pay with these cards. The large interest that the company places on you whenever you don't pay up at the ended of the month is a heart-hurting fact. Your wallet would be crying when you accumulate this debts, not being able to pay off in the end and find out the company would be adding more debts on you. Now isn't that heart-wrenching.
A cardholder must also be aware of credit card frauds, where your card may be stolen or someone steals your credit card number and use it for their own benefit.

In the end, it is up to a cardholder if they're going to use their credit cards wisely. On one hand it can be a great relief to have these cards, on the other, it can lead you down to your demise (of debts). If credit cards were actually that evil to use, society wouldn't even use them. But the fact that living life itself is very pricey (education, health, etc.), there is no other way but to rely on borrowing "free money" for a while.
"It costs too much, staying human." indeed.

Base on a website here are simple rules to keep you from going on the downside of using credit cards:

  • Keep track of all your purchases.
  • Don't spend outside your budget.
  • Pay off your balance on all of your credit cards at the end of each month.
  • Don't loan your credit or give out your credit card information to anyone but reliable companies.

It really does

fijgkdrkdskwedwrqr2wqjgkghrsjhygy;sfdstf.'/;edgjtsrey123

....is what I used to think whenever someone mentions the word "Math".

My mind is always in shambles when Math is involved.
Truthfully, I am not very keen on the subject and I am not denying that I'm one of those people who thought at first Math is extremely difficult and boring. I still believe it is. However, some aspect of it may not be so dull to look at after all. Well, what I've always hated with the field of Mathematics were Algebra, Pythagorean Theorem, and other dreadful difficult topics under it. They weren't friendly to learn. Especially to someone like me who often tends to have short-attention span. Back then I just didn't understand how these complicated techniques were going to be useful in our careers. Thoughts like:
You don't use algebra when you become a cashier.
You don't need numbers with the help of letters to make a painting.
You won't bring world peace with it.
Sometimes I feel a little silly to think like this, but looking at it, it's kind of true.
However, from what I recently learned, Math isn't all about just computations and numbers, but it also covers business strategies and the likes.
Today, you can't deny the world revolves around money.
And money means business.
You can't learn business when you don't know its rules and numbers.

Frankly ever since I was a kid, Math has always been my weakest point. All I did was draw and write. I find literature and arts to be more interesting. You could say Math and I aren't exactly on friendly terms. I got normal grades for that subject, nothing to be proud of actually. Yet I was happy I could still pass it, even though I was barely hanging on the subject. But as we all grow up, our world is also changing. From our childhood days, it can't be helped that we must soon step into the grown-up world; we're talking about industries, work, companies, and business. Once you reach the age of employment, its not enough to just "barely" pass Math.
And since money has become a point of interest for the world, it means not only to run with computations and numbers, but as well as business strategies. You can't enter the business world armed with calculator and computers alone. Tactics are needed in order to make some progress in any kind of business these days. Careful planning and analysis is a must for a successful outcome.

Also, because of a previous lesson in our subject Business Math last week, that's where I decided Math can be your friend (sometimes). It helped us to figure that we can do certain things because of math. Tips and tricks are given that we realize business math is one of the main keys to reach the success in our future careers. Hey, and with this subject, certain jobs and courses exist because of it; Accounting, Financing, and even Engineering. It has become an important field wherein it has created job opportunities for the world.

So I guess whenever someone mentions Math now, basically I would have an even more broader idea on what it actually is. With Business Math, I'll start thinking about business plans and strategies, instead of hard-to-solve problem solving and headache giving numbers the like. Hmm...I think Math and me can become good friends after all (someday hopefully).

On to discovering the good side of Math!

"It Math-thers" (It Matters) Yes, lame pun I know. Hey, everyone's doing it :)
Thanks for reading! I'm not really good with writing and blogging is a first for me. I tried not making it with a too serious approach. Also, this blog contains the replica of my thoughts. I didn't want to try and sugar coat anything =w=
Hopefully I'm doing all right with blogging *sighs* Comments are appreciated and loved! <3
Thank you for bearing with me haha xD
